Jeanne's greatest joy in life is to support the healing of individuals through Yoga and Bodywork.
Her commitment is to creating positive change in one's self and in the world through heartfelt actions that lead with awareness, self-care, and love.
Jeanne leads gentle, mindful classes with an easy grace, playful joy, and an ever-evolving balance of effort and ease. Jeanne is especially passionate about Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga, transforming traditional poses into a gentle healing experience, through nurturing variations, props, essential oils, and lots of healing touch. These classes are nourishing for all individuals, especially those who are recovering from an illness or injury, the elderly, those who are new to yoga, and anyone who needs to bring some balance back into their lives.
Jeanne has also created a unique Shamanic Restorative Yoga, which combines gentle poses with the ancient healing art of Shamanic Journeying, using live drumming and guided imagery to explore the natural world within our imaginations. She views it as an invitation to move energy on a core level, encounter deep inner wisdom, and to access to realms beyond ordinary awareness and to forces in nature that are available to inspire and enlighten.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Jeanne brings unique insights on how energy moves through the body, an extensive understanding of Anatomy & Physiology, as well as her gift of touch therapy. She also co-founded the Therapeutic Yoga program at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, supporting lung patients through their rehabilitation efforts.
From her first class in her 30's, Jeanne has felt blessed to have found in yoga a deep practice that tethers her to her self. She continues to be inspired, humbled, educated, and supported by her yoga practice, which brings her comfort, playfulness, guidance, curiosity, and passion.
Jeanne leads retreats, workshops, and trainings around Ventura County, California.
