I would say I practice a blend of styles. A lot of what I practice is informed by people that I've studied with and what's kind of fresh and interesting for me in the moment. I am currently practicing ashtanga yoga in the mornings. Over the last year I found myself wanting a more rigorous discipline practice which has been very useful and beneficial. I feel like it's helped me in terms of focus and strength and it's currently meeting me kind of where I'm at in the mornings so I've developed a stronger practice in the mornings and then I find myself practicing you know restorative practices and of course meditation or pranayama practices or more subtle energetics sometimes yin practice or vinyasa. So lately I find my practice space it varies depending on the day. I've been practicing in the mornings at lulu pandas so I'll go in there early on my own and I'll do a Mysore practice or spend some time sitting in meditation but I love like the early hours of the morning around five or six o'clock when it's still kind of dark out to start my day off with practicing. I'm living right now in this little cabin in the woods and it has carpet which isn't ideal for a morning Mysore practice but I find that my practice kind of shifts depending on the location so if I've got a shag carpet I might do more but a restorative practice or something else. I spend a lot of time actually practicing outdoors you know as I'm like hiking along a trail I'll take some time to stop and stretch and just be with whatever is coming through. So what do I do besides yoga? Not much. It's pretty much my life, my lifestyle, my joy. I also enjoy going for long meditative hikes in Ojai and in the mountains and then meeting that with the ocean. Being outside as much as possible that's one of the reasons why I on a daily basis choose to live in Ojai and feel just so grateful to be in such a beautiful place that really nurtures this quality of life that is meditative and very nourishing. One of the reasons why I live there is because I have such dear close friends at Lulu Bandhas. They've really formed my community in Sangha and together we learn and experiment in yoga. You know the Ojai Valley is so it's so beautiful and has such a rich spiritual history with with Krishna Murti and Annie Besant and the Theosophical Society and it just lends itself to such a sweet lifestyle, sweet cozy, supportive nest.
