Welcome to Day 7! Inspired by Santosha, or contentment, we explore meeting the reality of who we are with tenderness and compassion. We will try simple practices that invite us to treasure the reality of ourselves. Together we play with our capacity for joy through the art of ritual, by engaging wholeheartedly and lingering in the moments of our lives that we already enjoy. Santosha can be a source of great resiliency within ourselves as we learn to choose ease and trust in the Mystery.
Your journaling assignment for today is attached below, as well as a copy of the Chant Call and Response.

A day without complaining.....I really like this.....I will put a few post-it notes to help me remember!! A ritual of joy will be my bedtime ritual today. thank you!
Thank you for this Challenge, Kelly! Yes,, I am going to pause more with my tea ritual and take the time to savor the joy! Learning much and using the time for reflection has been great!
The ritual of joy SERIOUSLY changed my life! So excited this is resonating! Sara--- YES! Your Saturday spread *is* JOY!! Astrid--- Let me know how it goes! (Right now I am 5 months pregnant and have been feeling very sick. Last night I felt like a day without complaining would be my very best medicine. It is so hard, but helping big-time today!!) Louisa-- Thank YOU! So happy you are here. Tea is such a unifying JOY-inducer! YES!
Louisa, You heard me right! I don't always drink coffee, but when I do, I do it up. I make this really tasty cup of pour-over coffee then let a pat of the very best butter I can find (my favorite is Organic Valley Pastured Cow Butter) melt into it. I take a good, long smell of it before enjoying my first sip. HEAVEN.
I love the idea of incorporating a ritual of joy into my daily routine. My life seems to be an endless to-do list, devoid of joy. Actively including a joyful activity will be a wonderful way to create happiness in my life on a daily basis. Thank you Kelly.
So good to hear, Kay. I FEEEEL you. There are times when I feel like I could just *work* all the time and it takes real effort not to do that. Savoring those moments that are truly full of quiet joy has made such a difference to me. Thank YOU for sharing!
