James begins by defining meditation in Chapter 1, offering ways in which we can invite it into our daily lives. He then leads us through two standing meditation practices in Chapter 2 and Chapter 3, including in a 4 minute silent standing meditation. We find rooted stability and subtle spaciousness throughout the practice.
