(waves crashing) Hi, now we're gonna go through eight different pranayama practices. There's four practices for the abdomen and then there's four different ujjayis. And these eight practices they together you can apply these to the asana practice or you can do it just to separate pranayama exercises. So, these four abdominal breathings, they help to calm the mind and they, There's one practice which is like a passive abdominal breathing technique. And then the other breathing is half-passing where one controls the dome of the diaphragm so that it's breathing itself is passive but the control of the breathing is on the dome of the diaphragm, between the diaphragm and lungs, and then there, So that's the half-passive abdominal breathing.

And then we have half-active, which is a kind of thoracic breathing, where one actually uses the chest, and breathes through the sides, like a lateral breathing technique. And then the dome of the diaphragm is controlled on that. And the last one is the technique where we actually release the dome of the diaphragm, so that it can move freely. And then the breathing becomes more, more active on the chest, and on the upper back. So these are the four, four abdominal breathings.

Then we have four different ujayi techniques. So, there's, according to Puranas, there's four sound centers in the body. There's one in the throat. One in the heart center. One in the navel.

And then one in the perineum. And these four sound centers They correspond, with the different levels, On our Sukshma Sarira, on our subtle body. So that one level, one level is the Sadvakya ujayi, which is the level of the mind. When the sound is generated in the throat, it comes from the mental level. And then we have other, which is Anahata vairagya Which is the heart's center.

And then that's the puri maya cause. when the sound vibrates and comes from the intellectual level. And then we have Manipura vairagya Navel center. And that's the level of Ahankara which is the force, ego. Then the consciousness.

When the sound comes from that level then the consciousness is from the level of force ego. And then we have Maha vairagya, which is the perineum. And then when the sound is generated, physically, the sound is generated in the throat, but this means that there's energetical centers where sound originates. And then this last one is Maha vairagya which is the perineum and when the sound is generated, sound vibrates and starts from there, then that's the level of the self. So these are the eight different levels of the pranayama.

And now we're gonna go through these eight different levels.
