Hi there, thanks for showing up. Today we have a chant, a forgiveness chant, which is very good for calming down and erasing issues in the past. Now with this chant, it's inspired by a Hawaiian tradition called Ho'oponopono. This is a much larger tradition within that culture. What we're using today are English words that are inspired by that tradition.

Now you can just listen to me and think about it, but I assure you it's much more effective with chanting if you chant along. Even if you just feel like you're singing in the shower, that's quite alright, or even if you want to whisper along with me. As for who you think of, that's up to you. You can use it as a cleansing for your day, just chanting along and seeing who comes to mind from your day, or you might take a more courageous tack and think of someone specific in your life that you can send forgiveness to. Let's begin.

Breathing in and breathing out, listen at first and begin as soon as you can. I love you, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I thank you, I love you, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I thank you, I love you, I'm sorry, casualties forgive me, I thank you, I love you, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you, I love you I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you, I love you I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you, I love you I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you, I love you. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I thank you, I love you. I'm sorry, please forgive me.

I thank you, I love you, I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I thank you, I love you. I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you, I love you I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you, I love you I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me I thank you I love you, I'm sorry Please forgive me I thank you I love you I'm sorry Please forgive me I thank you I love you I'm sorry Please forgive me Thank you I love you, I'm sorry Please forgive me Thank you, I love you I'm sorry Please forgive me I thank you I love you I'm sorry Please forgive me I thank you I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I thank you. I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I thank you. I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me, I thank you, I love you, I'm sorry.

Please forgive me, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you. Bringing the hands to prayer into the forehead. Visualizing the chance, continuing to project from you. All is forgiven. Visualizing the chant moving down through the brain, down through the cells of the body. And bringing the prayer to the heart, heart full of gratefulness and love. Thank you so much for practicing. Namaste.

That’s a great practice to chant this.  The version I’m familiar with is the same except it says “I forgive you” instead of “I thank you”.
