Welcome to Shammata Meditation on Yoga Anytime. I'm Erin Yee. Shammata is a style of meditation which translates to calm abiding. Together in season one in a series of ten minute sessions, we will master the building blocks of close placement attention at the low belly, the nostrils, as well as mixing mind and space on the medium of the breath. These shorter sessions will prepare you to meditate comfortably and easily for 20 minutes. Benefits from a regular meditation practice include increased calm, clarity and self-love.

These are timeless and simple techniques that you can return home to, to develop a greater intimacy with the quiet depths of yourself. So glad you're here with me to benefit from this ancient practice. Let's sit together.
