Namaste dear yogi friend. Today we are going to chant the divine mother. So let's just begin with an om. So taking a deep breath in, exhaling everything and inhale for om. Aamu, Aamu, Aamu, Aamu.
So part of these Bhakti yoga practices are all about connecting with and awakening the sense of relationship with the divine. So we chant to the divine to remember the vibration in our body and ultimately to awaken the true knowing that we are this vibration. We are divine. We are love. We are all one.
We are connected. So today we're going to chant to Jagadambhe Ma, the great mother. Jagad means world. Ambe means creative force. So Jagadambhe is the creative force of the universe, that which gives life.
And when we add ma, which means mother, we get Jagadambhe Ma, which means that creative life force that nourishes, sustains and gives life to us. So in this practice of chanting, of calling out to that life force to come closer, to nourish us, to hold us, we come into our heart center and we sing from this place to remember the vibration of love, of connection with the divine. So there's no skill needed here. There's no need to be able to sing or even really to know the words. The only thing is just to drop into your heart center and to join in as best as you can.
So the chant that I'm going to share with you today is very simple. The words are, Hey Ma, which is calling out to mother, come to me, mother, Hey Ma. And then Jai Ma, and Jai means victory. So it's like victory to this great life force, this beautiful life force we're honoring, celebrating Ma, celebrating the great mother who provides our lives and sustains us. Hey Ma, Jai Ma, and then Hey Ma, Jai Ma, Hey Ma, Jai Ma, Jai Jai Ma.
And then the next part says, Hey Jagadambe Ma, again calling out to the mother, Hey Jagadambe Ma. And then there's another part that goes, Jai Jagadambe, Jai Jagadambe, Jai Jagadambe Ma. So just again repeating the names of the mother. So just let's say that together, Hey Ma, Jai Ma. And then Hey Jagadambe Ma, Hey Jagadambe Ma, beautiful.
So this is a practice that works from the inside as these sounds, the Sanskrit language is a vibrational language as it starts to enter into our body, it starts to clear us out from the inside, it starts to change our vibration and lift us up into a higher vibration into greater health, wellbeing and positivity. So just joining in and allowing the sounds to clean you out from the inside, beautiful. And so we'll begin taking a deep inhale and exhale everything, just dropping down into your heart center and just dropping into that connection with life itself, beautiful. Hey Ma, Jai Ma. Joining in as you feel too.
Hey Ma, Jai Ma. Hey Jagadam, Jai Ma. Hey Jagadam, Jai Ma. Hey Ma, Jai Ma, Jai Ma. Hey Jagadam, Jai Ma.
Hey Jagadam, Jai Ma. Hey Jagadam, Jai Ma. Hey Jagadam, Jai, Jai, Jai, Jai, Jai Ma. Hey Jagadam, Jai, Jai, Jai, Jai, Jai Ma. Hey Ma, Jai Ma.
Hey Ma, Jai, Jai, Jai Ma. Hey Ma, Jai Ma. Hey Ma, Jai Ma, Jai Ma. Hey Jai Ma, Jai, Jai Ma. Allowing yourself to feel the vibration in your body.
Taking a deep breath in and exhale. Jai Jagadam Vai. From my heart to your heart, much love and blessings on your journey. Namaste.
