So, it's time for a song. And we're going to sing this quite simple Sanskrit chant with four words, Lokaha, Lokaha, Samastaha, Samastaha, Sukino, Sukino, Bhavantu, Bhavantu. And you might notice that all of these words are pretty similar to many words we've encountered already in the Gita. So Samastara, we've had Samatvam yoga uchate, Sama, means evenness. Samastara basically means evenly, thoroughly, throughout. Bhavantu, we've had many verbs like this. Bhavantu is the imperative form of the verb to be, so may there be. Sukinaha, we've had Sukha quite a few times. Sukinaha basically means happiness, well-being. And Lokaha, it's actually come into the English in words like local, local, locality. But it's actually from a Sanskrit root, aalok, which means to look upon. So Lokaha is that which you can look upon. In other words, it's everything in the manifest world. So this chant basically, may there be happiness, peacefulness, well-being, evenly, thoroughly, throughout the whole universe. Everything we can experience within and without. And today we're also going to include some additional words. A friend of mine, Paul, he was wanting to make a song to sing Lokaha Samastara Sukina Bhavantu. And he'd seen in a book of Paramahansa Yogananda, this great yoga teacher who was around late 19th, early 20th century, that Yogananda had written out this prayer and he'd said, may thy love shine forever on the sanctuary of my devotion. May I be able to awaken thy love in every heart. And in the book that he'd written it, he'd written it underneath these Sanskrit words, Lokaha Samastara Sukina Bhavantu. So we're going to add those words. We're going to say, may we instead of, so, may thy love shine forever on the sanctuary of our devotion. And may we be able to awaken thy love in every heart. So as you're ready, we can join in.
