Postnatal Yoga

This show offers short effective yoga practices that are designed to support your physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being, offering counterposes to the daily life of being a mom, and refilling your cup so that you can give from a more centered and resourced space.

Season 1

No matter where you are in your postpartum journey, depression, anxiety, and isolation are real. In Season 1, we practice tools and techniques that target common postpartum sticky areas, including gentle core and pelvic floor awareness, glute and adductor strengthening, and stretching for the neck, shoulders, and low back, as well as nervous system support.

Typically 6-8 weeks postpartum is a general guideline for resuming activity. But as always, check with your health care practitioner, and listen to and trust your body’s unique healing process. The timing is unique to your pregnancy and birthing journey.
