So we've just had some great fun exploring the masculine pronoun in the singular for the third person and we transformed Clark into Clarkaha and said saha Clarkha when he was far and when he came close it was a shaha Clarkaha and the question kaha Clarkaha. So now what we'll do next is to see how we can use the same pronouns for objects. Now let me see what I have in my bag here. So I have a spoon that you're already familiar with chama saha a shaha chama saha it's near so a shaha chama saha kanta kaha for a fork kanta kaha it's near so a shaha kanta kaha. So if I kept the fork away from me that would be saha kanta kaha saha kanta kaha kaha kanta kaha use your hand always use your hand when something is far away it really teaches the body the language much faster all right so we have that now the spoon being close to me is a shaha chama saha saha kanta kaha now we have saha chama saha saha chama saha the bag is with me so it's a shaha su taha a shaha su taha and what if I left the bag there what would it be fantastic saha su taha.

Exciting...! I am trying to learn the subject pronouns this week with my teacher, so your presentation is showing me that... and much more! It seems that there is always something more and more and more as I make these baby steps on this Sanskrit adventure. It is truly humbling. (Happy Navrati! Jai Ma!)

Dear Kate, glad that you are enjoying this adventure. The trick in learning this language is to recognise the underlying patterns then there will be a lot less to memorize. All the very best 😊
