(waves crashing) So welcome again friends. We looked at the sound ay in our previous episode, which was a combination of the vowel ah and ee, but more in terms of a journey from the ah to the ee. Now what we're going to do is we're gonna slow down the journey and just say the sound ahyee, in a slow motion, so ahyee. We'll quickly run over the A phase, not really stop there and mark it, so it's ahyee. Do that, ahyee.
Lovely, once more, ahyee. Feel the sound roll into your throat and come out, it's almost as if you were massaging your entire vocal system with these sounds. The good news is that when you give yourself that massage, then that in turn massages your brain and you can get some good hair at times. (laughing) Okay so the vowel here that we're exploring is the ahyee. The ahyee, in English we have the word aisle, and it's a bit that if you want to connect it with some sound that you're more familiar with.
In terms of its vibrational effects, it corresponds to intelligence and creativity in manifestation. It corresponds to the awakening of deep and profound knowledge within one's self, and that is why this is said to be the sound which is, in the yoga tradition, associated with a lot of the energies, the female energies, the goddess energies, the divine mother energies, it's the ahyeem. The force of creation, the force of being, as well as the force of creative expression. This I guess we would need to practice more when one really wants to cultivate this experience of expression, and with a certain determination within that expression. So the creative power of expression can be enhanced with the vowel ahyee.
Now let's practice it so, what we would do in terms of actions is to expand the hands like we did for the ah, and as for the ee, just imagine that you're bringing all the space in between in a pointed manner, and directing it with your will and intention towards a certain goal, okay. So close your eyes, take a deep breath, and we'll do the ahyee together, alright, so sit in a comfortable position, take a deep breath, start with the ah, and then the ee. Ahhhhhhhhyeeeeeee. Do you want to do that once more? So close your eyes, take a deep breath, spread your hands out with the ah and bring them together with the ee, alright.
Let's start. Ahhhhhyeeeeee. Practice this whenever you are feeling stuck in your expression, and let the power unfold itself into action. Thank you.
