(ocean sounds) Welcome back. Playing with these sounds has a very interesting impact on how we feel and who we are. We looked at the "o" in our previous session. And this time we will slow down the sound "o" into its two components which are the "ah" and the "oo". And let's go from "ah" to "oo" and not particularly mark the "o".

The sound is "ah-oo". Right? Do it. "ah-oo". Lovely.

The sound "ah-oo" contains the vibruchi effect of both the vowels. The "ah" being expansion and the "oo" being the sense of containing everything. It's almost like the experience of omnipotence. The full expansion of the divine energy and consciousness. And it has this all-containing protection of that universal vastness.

The work we do next is to do the sound "ah-oo" and watch what it feels like. Alright? So, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and do the sound "ah-oo". (deep breath) "ahhh-ooooo" Once more. "ahhhhh-oooo".

You got a feel of it? Lovely. This particular sound has the experience of expansion. And then containing everything within it. The best place to use this sound, or I would think that this sound would be most effective in our lives whenever there is a feeling of insignificance.

When we feel that our sense of worth is at an all time low, probably. It's at that time that we can play with the sound "ah-oo" and expand our consciousness to what the yoga tradition says is our real nature, is the expanded, all-embracing sense. So keeping this visualization in mind, when we do the "ah", expand your hands out and, as you do the sound "oo", bring in everything in a vast embrace. Imagine that you have containing the greatest of galaxies like we did with the "oo" in the embrace. Alright?

So, let's try that. Sit comfortably. Take a deep breath. Expand and embrace. "Ahhhh-oooooo" Practice this and the other sounds as often as you can.

A good time to do this is also before you go to bed. So spend a few minutes to gather yourself and explore the sounds. And, as you already know, you can do the sound aloud and gradually also do the sound silently. You can be sure that when you master the "ah-oo" and you feel this omnipotence within you. There is nothing that will frighten you because everything is within you.
