I cannot say that what my favorite kind of music is. I'm just a music lover and I'm a music lover because it bypasses the head, shall we say. It just goes straight through and right into the emotions and heart. I can hear music inside and all of a sudden using those strings, you can make sound come out and it's like a reflection of what you're feeling inside. I'll sit on my couch and play for hours and go, wow, I can't believe that can make that kind of sound. It's exactly what I feel inside. Playing guitar and practicing yoga, it's similar in that the body and the guitar are both instruments. At this point in my yoga path, I've started to be able to elicit the same sorts of experiences through my body that I can with the guitar. And the same idea with music and being in a show and just being, wow, this is amazing. Maybe not to the same extent, but being in the yoga poses, when I lock in to an alignment of a pose and feel like I am absolutely there, that peace, that sort of joy, that feeling in that moment I'm alive, I can feel my body from my head, to my toes, from my right to my left. So like an instrument, being able to learn how to play my body has been quite a journey, a beautiful journey.
