Welcome back. Thank you Matt and Sarah and Juna for still being here. We're gonna look at Uttanasana, standing forward fold. So I'll ask my friends to simply find a standing forward fold and as they make their way into the forward fold, watch how they do that as you guys are ready. It's a real luxury to be able to watch another. Okay so just take a look like take a look where they've each decided to put their hands, how Juna has hers in front, Sarah has hers back by her feet, Matt has turned his palms up, right? There was not specific instruction on what to do and so finding out what people do is how you find out what the posture might be. Okay now what I'm gonna ask Matt and Sarah are you guys okay just staying there a little bit longer? Juna you could stay there too or you could find child's pose as you like. And so now just take a look please like take a look at what Sarah's legs have done like notice how she has very little if almost no bend in her knees. Notice that her feet are together and then notice how Matt has made the posture work for him by allowing his knees to bend okay by allowing his feet to be more separate. Now just take a look Matt will you show what happens when you decide to straighten your legs? Okay so when Matt decides to straighten his legs did you see how the his back the stretch went way more into his upper back did you feel that? Okay and it brought the stretch into here now bend your knees again and just watch and see when he bends his knees his chest comes much closer to his thighs. Now the same will actually happen on Sarah. Sarah would you bend your knees a little bit can you see how in Sarah bends her knees her her chest moves more towards her thighs and one of the plays here for Sarah because remember Sarah was a competitive gymnast. If Sarah maintains the constraint of her chest to her thighs and rolls the weight into the balls of the feet if she maintains this constraint she'll get a much more intense Uttanasana just see if that works yeah okay let the shoulders relax a little bit let the back of the neck be long yeah okay so the play here again like two different bodies two different yogis two different people so two different postures okay why don't the three of you roll on back up let us know how your Uttanasana looks and feels
