Welcome to Yoga for Trauma on Yoga Anytime. I'm Kira Haglund. I'm a licensed clinical social worker and yoga teacher of more than 20 years. In season 3, we're going to be moving from disconnection and isolation into connection. We will be exploring some simple, effective, and playful somatic tools, yoga practices, and compassion meditations that will help us reduce stress and trauma response and increase our ability to self-incoregulate. It's my hope that this leaves you with a restored sense of empowerment and belonging and that you have a greater capacity for connection and joy in your life. Thank you so much for being here. I hope these practices help you on your path.

So glad to see this show is back - and it is certainly needed right about now. I fondly remember how the previous seasons helped me with some pretty serious grief and trauma.  Thank you Kyra and Yoga Anytime for helping to make this crazy world a better, more nurturing place 🙏🏻❤️
