Description

Quamay welcomes us to the Mindfulness in Motion 10-Day Yoga Challenge. When we focus our minds into our bodies, we can unlock a new perspective within this amazing human experience. Throughout the next 10 days, we invite our attention into the structure and function of different regions of our body as a means of captivating our mind. In these short, simple, but deep practices, we move from our feet into the pelvis, through our low back and up into the neck and shoulders. At the end of this challenge, you will feel grounded, present, and inspired.

You've got a body, which means you also have a place where you can focus your mind. And if you can focus your mind in your body, I believe you unlock a new perspective within this amazing human experience. I'm Kwame Samps. Welcome to Mindfulness in Motion, a 10-day yoga challenge with me on yoga anytime. Each day, we'll invite our attention into the structure and function of different regions of our body as a means of captivating our mind. We'll move up from the feet into the pelvis, through our lower back and through the shoulders and the neck. And these practices are simple, deep, and only about 30 minutes each. You'll feel grounded, present, and overall, hopefully inspired. I'm really excited to share with you. I'll see you on the map.

Hello, Beautiful Being. Today, wanting something new, something a little different, I tried your Grounding practice and which peaked my curiosity as to "who is this man?" so I watched your bio. While the details of our lives have been different, at heart, we are so similar! I always felt Outer, like maybe I was adopted because I am so different. For me movement is as necessary as food and air and over the years I became a dancer, a long distance trail runner, mostly chose work that allowed me to move and give healing. After a car accident I decided to try yoga for my own healing. That was 13 years ago and I still practice daily. Also, a meditator for many years, I began my yoga journey at Sprit Rock with a weekly yoga/meditation class. So very much of what you describe of your journey resonates with me, I'm not your usual yoga for fitness chick; for me it's deeply healing, personal. Thank you, Thank you!! Namaste
