Hello, I'd like to show you a short practice that you can do today that helps to move energy through your body, your organs, and also to enhance your immune function. It's called the Love Pat. So you can do this sitting in a chair or extend your legs out in front of you, you can sit on a yoga bolster, folded blanket, something that lifts your hips up a little bit, and then separate your legs hip width. You'll begin patting with love through the inner and outer line of the leg, and you want to feel a tingly sensation, you want to feel the energy beginning to flow, removing any blocks, and then down the top of the legs, you can even do the tops of the feet if you can reach, just go as far as you can down and up the legs, sending the vibration of love. Next, you'll bring that pat to your low belly, to the organs that rest here, sending the vibrations within, moving the chi, and then up to the stomach, the liver, the solar plexus, these organs that work all day, and breathing in that wonderful chi as it flows.
Next, we'll reach back behind the back and we'll pat the sacrum, so it's the triangular bone at the base of the spine. This can also be helpful if you have low back tension, you're welcome to cross the legs if that feels more comfortable. And then reaching up to pat the kidneys, and give some energy, some chi to the kidneys. I like to turn my hands around, make it a little easier to do the love pat on the kidneys. And then as we bring our hands all the way around to the thymus, located above the heart center, we'll begin to pat and also send vibration through tone to the thymus, so we're going to do some ah breaths.
Here we go, taking a deep inhalation. And again. Last time. And taking one hand at a time over the thymus. And take a few moments now to visualize your thymus, which is an important part of our immune system, being bathed in a beautiful turquoise blue light.
Visualize your immune system enhanced. Bring into perfect harmony and balance. And when you're ready, you can gently release, open your eyes, namaste. And I wish you good health.
