Australia is one of my absolute favorite places. I took one of my teacher trainings in Cairns years ago. I am so deeply saddened about the fires and worried for everyone’s safety. I find myself checking up on the news daily to stay up to date on all the developments.

I am actually scheduled to do a new series of a deep exploration of the poses, alignment, and how it all effects the mind coming in April. I am really excited for this series! So much I am looking forward to sharing.
Yesterday I felt the longer holds gave me a more completed sense of expansion, stretching of the muscles. Overall I feel I have a better sense of watching the whole body in poses and in daily motion, standing, or sitting as far as being aligned and as you say using or balancing both sides as well as front and back.
