When not galavanting around the globe attempting personal goals, professionally Quinn worked during the summer months as a climbing ranger in Rocky Mountain National Park. She was the only female and 1 of 5 in this highly coveted position. To compliment the rescue and medical component of this job, Quinn taught Wilderness Medical Courses with Remote Medical International during the winter months.

Additionally, Quinn runs the Estes Park based Dovetail Mountain Adventures. Dovetail provides yoga and climbing workshops and retreats, weaving the teachings of yoga and physical fortitude to help successfully manage our daily lives.

In October 2017, Quinn fell over 100 feet while climbing on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Her climbing partner that day, Josie Mckee, is equally versed in rescue and medicine and called for the technical rescue from over 1000 feet up. Quinn sustained a spinal cord injury, leaving her currently paralyzed from the waist down. Movement in public lands was a big part of life and vocation for Quinn. She is doing the best she can to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while still fulfilling her baseline passions.
