Ashley Rideaux is a Los Angeles based, 500 E-RYT YogaWorks Certified Teacher Trainer. In addition to the strong following she has built in LA, she also leads trainings, workshops, and retreats all over the world.
She was first introduced to yoga while studying acting at SMU's Meadows School of the Arts. It was during these 4 years of movement classes and breathing exercises that she found herself drawn to the practice. After graduating she worked as an actress, performing in regional theaters throughout the country. After settling in LA, Ashley began practicing at YogaWorks, and was fortunate to receive a scholarship to take a 200hr teacher training with Jeanne Heileman and Carmen Fitzgibbon. Ashley taught her first class a week after finishing her first training, and now leads 200-Hr Teacher Trainings for YogaWorks, and is a mentor in the 500-Hr Professional Program. Ashley's classes are challenging and playful, ranging from therapeutic work to advanced vinyasa flow. She has experience working with seniors with neurological disorders, clients with eating disorders, and has also been the featured yoga instructor for NBA player, Jordan Farmar's, Hoop Farm basketball camp for the past 4 years. All of her classes are a balance of the physical and the philosophical, inviting the body and mind to unfold through her detail to alignment, breath, and meditation.
