(waves crashing) Welcome. I'm Denise Antonini. In this season we're bringing you practices to help uplift your mood and energy. We all experience times in our lives where we face difficult challenges that influence our well-being and as a therapist and as a yoga instructor, I found that yoga practices can be designed to really help us out of these places so I put together some sequences specifically for clearing out morning brain fog for uplifting our mood, for energizing, for finding a sense of calm and returning to our center. I've even created a set of practices for once the struggle to get out of bed for morning practice and I practice for times were it seems like it's just too much of an effort to do a regular practice.
So while we don't control our genetics, we don't control the things that happen in our lives, we don't even control the things that occur to us, that cross our minds. We do have control over how we respond to situations that happen and we do have control over what we focus on. I'm so glad you're here.
