Perry menopause is a teacher and a season of transition, self study, and surrender. Hi. I'm Tamika Casa Miller, and welcome to season 2 of yoga for women's health on yoga anytime. This is about normalizing the changing body and befriending the changes you find. Being okay with your body where it is today and not comparing it to what it was 5 years ago or being afraid of what it will be 10 years from now. Not only what it looks like, but also what it has the capacity to do.

This season has 8 practices. There are various durations and various yoga styles because each day is different. This season understands that there are days in which we are very strong, and there are days in which we need more rest. We're leaning into the pillar of yoga of cultivating opposites for balance. With these practices, I hope that you're kinder to yourself and begin to see aging and the change that comes with it as a blessing.

Because not everyone gets the blessing of aging. I hope that you love yourself fiercely as you'd befriend the inevitability of change. Let's get into it.

Oh I am so pleased to meet you Tamika,  and so happy you are bringing this show back to Yoga Anytime!  I loved the first season with Cheri Clampett and found it to be tremendously helpful for me at 53 - now almost a decade later (I'm 62) I'm encountering  a whole new set of challenges going on in my body.  Sometimes a spicy vinyasa class is doable - many days now it's just not.  On those days, I crave restorative and yin practices to bring myself back to center and just feel good while doing it.  I can't wait to practice with you! 👏
